Christmas day, a few questions and meaningfulness

First of all, i want to say -- Merry Christmas!! Hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas with your family!
So i just want to write a meaningful post (at least i hope it's meaningful to you) about Christmas! :)

here is a question I'm going to answer, just a simple question. with a lot of meaning.

What does Christmas mean to you? Well, Christmas isn't just being with your family, or opening presents, or even giving presents. It's about Jesus' birth. That's a pretty big deal, God sent an angel to Mary and told her she was having a baby. I mean that's big. Specially because she was engaged to Joseph. And at first Joseph didn't believe her, but then he had a dream. So anyway she was about to have Jesus and, you remember when you were really little and in Sunday school they would say "there was no room in the inn"? well the Bible never mentioned that. I remember though, my dad saying they were in a house and the barns were connected to the house so somehow they ended up in the barn I'm still not sure how though. But i think one of the cool parts in this story ((besides Jesus getting born)) was when the angels came and told the shepherds that Jesus was born...the shepherds. People looked at the shepherds as the lowliest of the lows. I think that's neat. That when the Son of God was born, God chose to tell the shepherds. So that's just and overview on how Jesus was born if you want to read the whole story you can read it in the bible in Luke chapters 1and2. 

So that's what Christmas means to me :D  It's not about the gifts or the family and friends (don't get me wrong, those are a big part of Christmas. I'm not saying it's wrong to give or receive gifts, or to spent time with your family I'm just saying Christmas is about Jesus. So it's a celebration and a remembrance!) Though I don't know what Christmas would be like without my family there beside me!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to do a quick post to say --

I just want to mention a few things that i'm thankful for :D

Jesus Christ - and the Pilgrims  I am thankful for, of course, Jesus Christ. Because without Him we wouldn't be here, well maybe we would but we certainly wouldn't be very happy and thankful! And I am thankful that the Pilgrims wanted to worship God freely so they made their new country (i might not be getting this all right i didn't research it haha ;) So now we can all worship God without worrying,

My family! I have the most wonderful family ever! My family always seems to be in a good mood, at least it seems like that...probably because they are always in a good mood when i'm in a bad mood lol Anyway they are always there for me to cheer me on!

My friends ;) I love my friends! They are always there for my to encourage me! I have two really really special dear friends and then just a few other friends that are dear but aren't as close as my two special dear friends (i hope that makes sense! :P)

The blogging world! I really like to blog, but sometimes i'm not very consistant probably because sometimes it's hard for me to sit down and write a blog post when it might take awhile. But i love my followers! and i really really love comments!
(( hint hint))

The gifts that God gives us :D  I know that God gives each and every one of us gifts. Some know there gifts some don't, yet. I don't think i know mine yet....but i do know that God also gave us talents. Like singing, and dancing and drawing and talking. (of course there are much more but i don't really feel like naming all of them maybe sometime i'll do a post on gifts and talents) Anyway i'm glad God gave us these talents, especially the singing talent! I love music! ((who doesn't?!)) I know a lot of songs! (some i don't even know i know! lol in other words i forget about them and then  i hear it and i can sing it word for word ((almost)) lol)

Those are just a few things that i am thankful for!

I'm not feeling very good write now... i have a sore throat and i am cold and tired. I just got back from my grandma's house. And in about an hour maybe we are going to my Aunt's and Uncle's house. I just wish I felt better! :p Oh well! I'm just glad i don't feel so bad where i can't even go! and i'm glad that i'm sick now and not when i go to Samarah's!

I just read Samarah's blog post and how she was saying how fast this weekend went by, I'm gonna have to totally agree with her! I don't even think we had a Saturday! Anyway, at church I saw this picture I don't know if you've heard of it but it's a whole bunch of boxes of letters (letters of the alphabet) and all the numbers 1-9 so there are 33 boxes (if I'm adding right) and each box is a butterfly wing! here's a picture:

 so isn't that cool? I thought that was cool! anyway Eldarwen is having a giveaway! so go over to her blog and check it out! :) speaking of giveaways Samarah and I are still having ours (in case you've forgotten or didn't even know) so click HERE to enter! So 9 days until Thanksgiving, 11 Days until I go to Samarah's and 39 days until Christmas! I remember last year and I did that "Christmas countdown" I am so not doing that this year! It's hard enough to do a post every other day, I definitely couldn't do it everyday!

Whoa!

So sorry about the big        gap       in my posting, i don't think i did a post at all in October, that makes me sad! Well my blog-versary is tomorrow! So later today or tomorrow I'll post about what I'm gonna do!

Anyway, what has been going on in my life since September 28? A LOT! One thing is I finally got my braces off!!! that is exciting because I have had them on for over 3 years! I got them on August 16 (my sisters birthday) and three years later i got them off November 5! Yes, my teeth do feel very weird! But they are starting to feel less weird now. :)
For cubbies I actually got to be a leader! One of the leaders wasn't there and I always help out with her group so I got to "sub" for her! it was so fun!
Stars - we are going to have a performance soon! I'm kinda excited and I already memorized my lines it's really short so i don't have to worry that much :)
It snowed the other day!! I was really surprised when i woke up and saw snow! and I also was surprised on how long it lasted, all the snow lasted at least 2 days i think and yesterday there was still patches of snow everywhere.
I am trying to redo my blog look and if you saw that header i didn't mean for that to me on there! lol I am trying to edit that so sorry about the dull look it has now! :D

Fall!

Yea! It’s fall! I absolutely l.o.v.e. fall! And I haven’t really posted anything about fall yet, so here is my fall post! What’s the first thing you think about when you think of fall? I think about a lot of things! Colored leaves, cool breezes but still warm. Sweatshirts! And spiced cider and hot chocolate! Pumpkins! And apple pie and crisp apples and caramel apples and turkeys and hayrides and horses and acorns and I even think of cranberries! So obviously I think of thanksgiving! And all that “jazz” but you know one thing I don’t think about when I think of fall? Halloween. I do not like Halloween it is the worst holiday if you could even call it a holiday. It’s just so dark and scary I have only gone trick or treating like once in my life I was like three, it scared me to death! I was freaked out! And I don’t think I have ever gone trick or treating since. Maybe like once I don’t know but I just don’t really like Halloween.  But that’s just me :) But I still love fall! and the crisp air! Oh! Fall why do you have to be so short? Why can’t Winter be a little shorter? It’s probably because of where I live. Yep where I live. I live in a place where it does get hot in the summer…like up to 90, (It’s not very often that it gets to 100 degrees) and it gets very cold in the winter. But that’s one of the reasons I like fall. it’s warm and sunny but a nice breeze! And it’s so beautiful here!

The darker it is, the brighter the light will shine.

What do you think of that? I just thought that up on my walk…I think it means you might be in a hard time, but God will help you through it. And His light will shine even brighter. 

And I didn’t even know I could think of things like that :)

I think that is pretty encouraging! (the quote is) to know that he will help you in times that you really need Him, He's there and always will be!

LOST?!?

Yep! thats what i said! lost...i have never ever been lost, okay maybe a little lost. like you know at the store or something. here's how it went:
For school i have to do PE for 45 min. and so i decided to walk in the woods with my ipod and my laptop. Then half way i would sit down against a tree and blog. I always get inspired by nature. So as i was walking listening to my ipod. looked at my stopwatch and it said 13 min. so i said to my self oh 8 min then i'll stop and sit down and blog! sounds fun right? Well, 5 min. later i had KNOW idea where i was and i was walking and and walking AND walking and got to this road that i didn't didn't even know existed! I kept going back and forth and back and forth and finally decided to walk the road and walked it for at least 15 min. (it did NOT seem like it though!) I finally turned around and walked back and came to where i was before and kept trying to find my way home. All this time i was praying and praying and then started praying out loud. and almost crying cuz i was so scared! I was just scared that i would have to spend the night in the woods! I also said to myself "this is exactly why i need a phone!" lol So i finally found the sandy path that i first started and and was sooooooooooooooooo happy! i thanked God a million times! oh home! i don't think i've been so happy to be home!

Well there's my adventure! and now i had something to blog about! i mean i can always find something but not getting lost!

okay lets do this again :)

well so much for once or twice a week....:p i have been so so busy getting used to school and being sick and having family come up! i haven't even really read anyone's blog...so i'll just say i'll TRY to get on once a week. How hard could it be?  Anyway, i've had a lot going on:

Mondays - Every Monday, well i think it's going to be every Monday, my mom has a bible study with a few of her friends so i have to stay in the basement the whole time, or in my room. I would have done it yesterday but i had school to do then so i couldn't. The Monday before that we were at walmart the whole time. :) so as you see Mondays have been booked for me.

Tuesdays - Of course i have school and i forgot to mention that on the Monday thing. School lasts usually until 4:00. and then that evening me and my brother have Stars. and that's from 6:00 to 8 or 8:30. so tuesdays are pretty busy.

Wednesdays - School, and Awana!! Awana is our church program and it starts at 6:00 and goes to 8 or 8:30.

Thursdays - Usually we have Thursday night off. (yes i know what your thinking, why didn't you do it Thursday?!) and to be honest i have no idea why i didn't do a blog post.

Friday - school which sometimes takes longer, because it's the last day of the week, and then my parents have small group. And on most Fridays i have to babysit. Life group is (for babysitting) 5:30 to about 9 or 9:30 and (my parents life group) 7:00 to like 10 or 10:30.

Saturdays - usually Saturday is supposed to be a relaxing day off, but not according to my parents...they think it's clean the house day. :p so we are cleaning the house most of the day

Sunday - of course, is church, then we relax.

So we are pretty busy. But don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to make excuses! :) i was just making a point.

So expect me to be writing another post on maybe Thursday or Friday.

It was been a long time since i have been blogging, i think the last post was in may, but i don't remember. Anyway, it has been awhile.

A lot has been happening too :) we finally moved, we were adding on to my grandma's and grandpa's house and i think we started somewhere around march april or may, but it is finished now (except for a few little things) and we moved in a couple of weeks ago. So in my picture tab there are pics of my room. Speaking of my picture tab that leads me to my other pictures in there, our cat!!! Shirley is her name, she is the nicest cat we have ever had (and probably the nicest i have ever been with in my life) she is really shy though she gets scared of the littlest things, even the tv (when it's off!) or when people just walk down the stairs. she will run to her hiding spot and just stand there right before it, usually she doesn't go in though because she realizes that it's just us and then she comes over so we can pet her. :)

And my littlest sister, she was born July 2, 2010 and is the cutest baby i have every seen! she is i think 8 weeks old, and just starting to smile :) i am going to post pics of her soon

Fall is almost here! i love fall! probably because it's sweatshirt weather! i absolutely L.O.V.E. sweatshirt weather! because it's not really really cold and it's not so hot that you can't stand it. it's just perfect! and the colors of fall are beautiful! and everything i just love it! So i am so ready for fall! especially because this summer has been so, so busy. 
And of course what comes with fall is school! (yay! woohoo! not!) jk actually i am kinda looking forward to school, just to get back to normalness and opening a new book from school is really so exciting! but i know in a few weeks i'll be posting on here how much i dread school lol.

So this is my first post since i think May....wow time went by so fast,
But it has been a very good summer and i hope it has been for you too!

happy mothers day!

Hey mom! I just want to say Happy Mother's Day! I love you and thank you that your always there for me! I wouldn't pick another mom in the world except you! love you!

Hey bloggers! first of all just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers in the world and what they do for us! My birthday was a couple of days ago! I had a great time! I got an itouch (also known as the ipod touch) I got a $15 itunes card, a beautiful notebook, some scrapbooking sticker things, and earrings from my dear friend Samarah. I got a little notebook and a cute bag, a bracelet a cookbook. and from Samarah's mom I got 2 beautiful aprons a recipe box with cards for the recipes. And from my grandma I got a lot of dishes and tea cups and a little quilt she made a decorative doll. and some other stuff. Oh yeah I also got a case for my itouch.
I'll tell you what my weekend was like later when I have time it's like 10:37 right now. and I have to get ready for bed...

I know I said I would be back the 6 but I decided the 5th because it's Chester's birthday today! :) and because (i didn't decide this like yesterday or anything i think it was like one or two days after I started this computerlessness thing) lol

But I am so glad I did it! I feel refreshed and ready to start again!

and I can't wait for my birthday!!! *sigh* but at least it's only 2 days away instead of like 16 when I started my fast thing whatever you want to call it!)

I was sorta busy yesterday and couldn't get on, even though I always like to get on on a holiday. :(

I got baptized yesterday!!! it was really cool :) I was finally ready and I had the choice to do it on Easter and I think Easter is a great day to get baptized! and even better, my Dad baptized me! after we went to my Grandma's house and she gave me a cross necklace! that is a picture of it! it has real diamonds in it they're small but real and it's real gold!! I love it! I like the first one I made it so the light reflected on the cross to make it look like it's shining =) and sorry again it's been almost a week since Easter but I forgot and have had a busy school week :)

"The I don't know what to name this post" post

I don't really know what to talk about in the post...and I only have 4 minutes to right it...Dare2share is in 2 days!!! can't wait!! I want to get a ds game for on the way there...not really sure which one to get. I wanted a Nancy Drew ds games but I'm not sure how good they are. And they don't have any at out store I don't think I don't have enough time to order it because I only have 2 days actually it's only one...anyway I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I am excited for the trip!!

well nothing else to say, you probably won't here from me until Sunday or Monday.

Next weekend I am going to Chicago on a Dare2share conference!! It's where they teach you how you share your faith with other people and to be a "light" in the darkness :) this is my first year going, this will be my brother's and one of my good fiends second time. So I am really excited! My friend and my brother (and my dad) thought it was AWESOME!!!!! So I am pretty excited about it! :)

We are celebrating my mom's birthday tomorrow! not sure what we are doing yet but, I know it's going to be fun!

the forth one is Chester (Chesterina's mom) and the third one is Chester all grown up!!! I miss them both SO much! sorry it's all mixed up I kept having to edit it and stuff!


Swim season is over! i kinda miss it ... we are doing this testing for school thing for the next two days. and so I had to wake up at 7:00 this morning! it's been forever sense I've woke up that early! i was pretty tired this morning, I'm not right now but tomorrow or Thursday it will catch up to me and I'll end up going to bed pretty early! there is SO much going on this summer! I can't believe it! we have my birthday in May, and in June we have a Culinary camp and a horse camp I'm going to and in July my mom is having a baby, and in in July or August we are moving!! probably more stuff too. I'm glad it's going to be busy though, last summer we did almost nothing so I kinda like it busy! :) Oh yeah and HOPING to get my braces off this summer too! this August will be my THIRD year!!!!! I miss my old teeth! :( and after I get my braces off I have to have a retainer! ...sigh...

I haven't really been doing my blog much...sorry! just remind me and then I will try harder! lol

Swim team update!

Hey,
I haven't really talked about how swim team is going so I'll talk about that for a while,

it's going really well, I haven't really gotten hurt in a while. lol and I am doing summer-salts and diving off the block now. I have really gotten more courage from doing the swim team. I'm usually to freaked out to even dive on my knee. Actually I was to freaked out to even be in 12 ft deep water! (I had to close my eye's so I wouldn't freak! lol) but now I'm all out there when it comes to swimming! God has really helped me with that :) I do admit that in other area's of my life I'm content to stay in my comfort zone, but I'm working on that :) where were moving is right by town (like walking distance) and I'll be going to the library and stuff like that a lot more :)

Anyway, that's how the swim team is coming! the last day is March 5, and I want to sign up again! :) it'll be so fun! I'll probably be in the purple team this summer! that's the highest team and I'm the one right below that :)

I just finished making banana bread and it smells really good! (random!! lol) I am really random sometimes! lol I'm talking about swimming and all of a sudden, oh, banana bread! lol

Speaking of banana bread...I have to go take it out of the oven :)

Phew! here again!

Sorry it's been so long again :( I haven't been doing very well lately... my mom went to the hospital to get her ultrasound and the baby is a GIRL!!! I have been hoping and hoping and hoping (and more hopings) for a girl!! I just HAD to put that on here :)

Well I really have to go! but...I won't wait as long for my next post. I have to get back in the habit again :)

Sorry it's been SO long!! I was at my friends house and life happened lol. I haven't been doing very well with my blog! :( can't seem to find the time to do it... but I'll REALLY try to get a post in later today.

I just got back from the Orthodontist and I might get my braces off in 3-6 months!!! This August will be my third year with braces!! I REALLY REALLY want them off :)

I don't have time for a loner post right now but I just wanted to do some kind of post I will try to get one in tonight. :)

Sorry...

sorry it's been so long...I didn't really know what to post and really haven't bee on the computer that much (well not as much as usual)
Swimming is going well...last time I went was last Wednesday I got hurt that time too...sigh, I cut my finger I'm not even sure how I did it but, I did....
My mom went away with her friend for two days (one night and two days) and we did stuff here. we went to the YMCA and went swimming and then went shopping for stuff to get dinner and we went home made the dinner which was homemade mac & cheese and it wasn't just melted cheese and noodles it was a whole bunch of other stuff...it was REALLY good! we ate it all lol then I was going to babysit at there house but they ended up coming here because we weren't done making dinner. I babysat while my dad went to small group and then when I was done babysitting my dad came home and we made monkey bread (we started it before small group and we finished it after) and then we watched a movie called Shorts it was a confusing movie the first time you watch it and it was more funny the second time you watch it. then we all camped out in the living room (except for Anthony, my brother, he didn't want two because, he says, he likes his bed....yeah...right...)
My mom is planning on us getting done with school this year in May!!! isn't that AWESOME!!! lol we usually get done in late June! I'm so excited!
I am painting my new room green! I've probably already told you this but I am SO excited to have my own room! I've NEVER except when I was like 1-3 I've have always shared a room. So this is pretty exciting for me. :)

Hiya!

Sorry it's been so long again...

I couldn't go to the swim team meat thingy tonight... :( this morning I was teaching my sisters how to Square dance and I finished and my back started to really hurt so I couldn't go anywhere except the couch lol I did all my school work there and was hoping it would feel better for tonight but it didn't :(
Well I really don't have anything to say...if I do I'll post something else but nothing really "exciting" is going on right now...

Backgrounds, templates, and other things...

Sorry about the background right now.....it's under construction. lol
I went to a blog place and it had this template I wanted to try and it took me FOREVER to put it on so I got it on and the background didn't come with it so I've been looking all over the sight to find it but I couldn't so finally I asked Samarah for help....lol
I was at the "swim team thing whatever you call it" last night and I didn't get hurt! isn't that AMAZING! The first time, I drank five cups of water up my nose and got a really bad stomach ache and the second time I cut three of my toes trying to dive and the third time I was sick to even come. And now!! nothing happened! I dove standing up though! first time EVER lol
Well I have to do school now! exciting huh?!?

sorry I didn't do any post last night....I didn't have time. Well I am feeling well enough to go to the swim team meet thing...I don't know what it's called lol I don't think I told you that I was sick and didn't get to go Monday. Anyway, I hope I get to go tonight :)

I don't know what to name this post lol

I just got back from the swim team and there's good news and bad news...the good news is that we didn't do summer-salts and the bad news is we did diving...uh oh. lol yeah i have NEVER dove before and so I got hurt on my toe... :( it didn't really hurt that much but I had to get out and put a bandage thingy on it...it was bleeding really bad!

Okay change of subject lol Nothing is really going on right now... hmm yeah can't think of anything else.

This is a pic of the snickerdoodles I made! they were SOOOO good my mom had me take a picture of them and post it on here! i made my mom coffee and made it look nice to go with the picture. :)

I just got back from the swim team meat thing and it was great until she had us do summer-salts in the water...I have never done those without nose goggles so I got like five cups of water up my nose!! (just so you don't know I tend to exaggerate) It hurt SOOOOO bad!!! So my stomach has been hurting all night.... :(

Well I will DEFINITELY write soon lol I'm sorry I haven't done it in a long time! I have been so busy!

First day of school......

Yeah we started school today and my mom decided to take it slow so we only had to do two subjects. Well I started math and it probably took me an hour to do it!!! I was so not focused and was very distracted! Then I did Bible, that didn't take me as long. We just got back from the Y (it's 4:20) and we were swimming and stuff...

There are two exciting things going on in my life, one is my mom's going to have a baby, the other one is we are moving!! I can FINALLY get my own room!!! I'm gonna paint it green!!! lol I love green! :) We are actually moving in with my Grandma, she gets her own little "apartment" and we get the rest of the house. :) that's all the details I know!
